Our clients desired to modernize the kitchen, dining room, and the single bathroom in their 1920’s Craftsman house. Our design aimed to simplify the path of circulation through these rooms, creating a feeling of space, while building in as much storage as possible. The kitchen remodel became a means of connecting the living spaces with the property’s large and beautifully maintained back yard, as well as a new deck for entertaining.
The cabinetry in the bathroom is built of teak reclaimed from fallen structures in SE Asia and the bleached redwood wall in the kitchen was salvaged from a barn in Northern California.
